Galbally Community Centre sits amongst the rolling hills of this small rural community in Co. Tyrone and is as a testimony to the vision, commitment and generosity of local people. The original building opened in 1995, with a further extension completed in 2014.
The original building was built almost entirely through local community fundraising and to this day retains a tangible sense of community ownership and great pride among the local people. It is regarded as a Centre for Rural Excellence and meets a range of needs within the local communities of Galbally, Cappagh and further afield. The building continues to act as an inspiration for social, sporting, artistic, cultural and economic development within the local rural community.
